    As most of you know, I've been drawing, painting, working for years.  For the full history, go to Qs like Why Y Halop Lord.    Years ago, Ron brought me the following poem by Richard Rayner.  I have had it on my wall in the 'Art Room' to remind me when I get 'down' or have a 'What's it all about Alphie' moment.

I saw a musician lock away his instrument.
I saw a ballerina hang up her shoes.
I saw a painter pack up his brushes.
I saw a writer fall to a critic's review.

I saw four bodies walking, but the
spirit was in limbo of a silent scream.

Asilomar at Thanksgiving As most of you know Ron and I went to Pacific Grove, Asilomar over the Thanksgiving Holiday - The painting to the left is in the hamper to be finished. It was a wonderful trip because we were able to take CJ and fun was had by all .

Davis Ranch in November 09 Plein aire in November. . . was crisp out there, four of us were there and a good time was had by all.

Davis Ranch in December 09 This was a cold foggy day - this day there were only three of us, and one left early because it was so cold.
