The Mustangs is being painted to be offered at auction benefitting the Production of "The Legend of Pancho Barnes and the Happy Bottom Riding Club".

This is a work in progress- - - a 50+ years of rolling around in my head, and finally coming out - it is evolving from sketch, first layer of watercolor in the yellows, oranges, second layer, violets, greens, third layer - French Ochre
Pancho and my father would put me on a chair at the side of the road, go up into the hills in the distance on the painting, bring down the mustangs in a cloud of dust - after they passed, Pancho would put me on the back of her horse and we would go to her ranch "The Happy Bottom Riding Club" and begin the breaking of the mustangs. That's all.
